Awards & Masterships
The ACP presents 19 awards and a number of Masterships each year.
Awards
Awards are presented for a variety of outstanding accomplishments, including: the Herbert S. Waxman Award for Outstanding Medical Student Educator, the Oscar E. Edwards Memorial Award for Volunteerism and Community Service.
Mastership
Mastership in the American College of Physicians is bestowed upon select Fellows in recognition of exceedingly stellar career accomplishments and service to the College.
Nominations for awards and Mastership require five letters and a current curriculum vitae or equivalent submitted to the ACP by June 30, 2009.
